There is only one request to all of you: do not chase after worldly desires. Strive for your needs, for the desires of even kings are never fulfilled, yet the necessities of even a poor person are met. You should definitely reside in this world, but do not let the world reside in you, like a boat that floats on the water and continues its journey. However, if water penetrates the boat, it will sink. So, my companions, we must surely live in this world, but we cannot allow the world to live within us, for when the World begins to dwell within us, we begin to drown in the World, and we will become slaves of our inner selves. May God protect us from the slavery of our own self, shelter us all from the evils of Satan and the envy of the envious.
